We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Steel Detailing team.

Job Responsibilities:

Requires good experience with Structural Steel Detailing & Designing work

Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring overall project profitability and client satisfaction

Create and prepare project-related materials and documentation to support internal teams and project execution

Coordinate project-related details between clients and production staff while ensuring compliance with company procedures and standards

Collaborate with senior leadership and HQ management on strategic planning, operational goals, and process optimization initiatives

Schedule and allocate project resources to meet construction timelines and client delivery expectations

Effectively coordinate project modifications and adapt to changing project requirements as needed

Define project roles, responsibilities, and deadlines to ensure efficient workflow and accountability among team members

Conduct high-level quality reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and company quality procedures

Prepare, track, and manage Requests for Information (RFIs) and design change summaries throughout the duration of the project

Monitor and adjust project activities to ensure alignment with JMT Tekla project workflow procedures and delivery schedules

Prepare drawing packages for client submission in accordance with scheduled project deadlines

Review and revise drawing packages to ensure compliance with client standards, specifications, and quality requirements

Oversee project planning, execution, risk management, and final delivery to ensure successful completion within scope, schedule, and budget

Mentor, train, and develop project managers, team leads, detailers, and junior engineers to strengthen technical and leadership capabilities

Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to project workflows, productivity, detailing standards, and operational efficiency

Identify project risks, technical challenges, and resource constraints proactively and implement mitigation strategies

Ensure lessons learned, project feedback, and continuous improvement initiatives are incorporated into future project planning and execution

Under Grad: B. Tech/B.E. - Civil, Mechanical

Diploma: Any Postgraduate - Any Specialization, PG Diploma - Any Specialization, Civil, Mechanical

10+ Years of experience in the Steel Detailing industry willing to consider candidates who can demonstrate significant experience in a related field

5+ Years of experience in Project Management

Advanced level of knowledge of Tekla Structures

Must know AISC & CISC Standards

Considerable proficiency and experience in working on Commercial US Projects

Experience in structural and miscellaneous steel construction, fabrication, and the ability to read drawings

Proven project management and coordination skills

Self-motivated and ability to complete multiple tasks with minimal guidance

Deadline-driven with attention to detail

Must have 5+ years’ experience in AISC / CISC Projects

Must have good communication skills. (Written & spoken)

Must have good experience in Model Checking & Erection Checking
