.NET Developer (Senior Analyst)– Job Description Join our collaborative team to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using the .NET Framework. Core Responsibilities Build and maintain applications using the .NET Framework 4.8, focusing on robust, maintainable code. Develop APIs and web applications leveraging ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and Razor views. Architect and optimize database interactions with SQL Server (queries, stored procedures). Apply OOP principles and C# (version 7.3 or above) best practices for scalable codebases. Work with modern ORM tools (Entity Framework, Dapper, or NHibernate) for effective data access. Ensure high code quality through rigorous unit testing (MSTest, NUnit, xUnit). Use Git and Azure DevOps for version control and collaborative workflows. Implement dependency injection and inversion of control with containers (e.g., Unity). Set up and maintain effective exception handling and logging frameworks. Develop efficient LINQ queries and RESTful service integrations. Design, implement, and maintain service bus/messaging architectures. Actively participate in peer code reviews and contribute to codebase refactoring for quality and maintainability. Required Skills & Experience .NET Framework 4.8: Extensive hands-on experience (not just .NET Core). C# (7.3+): Strong knowledge of language features, OOP, and design patterns. ASP.NET MVC/Web Development: End-to-end experience including Razor views. Experience in Windows workflow foundation API Development: Building and consuming APIs, controllers, middleware. ORM Tools: Experience with Entity Framework, Dapper, or NHibernate. SQL Server: Skilled in T-SQL, stored procedures, and data modeling. Unit Testing: Experience with MSTest, NUnit, xUnit or similar frameworks. Source Control: Proficient with Git and Azure DevOps. Dependency Injection/IoC: Practical application using containers (Unity or similar). Exception Handling & Logging: Implementing in production-grade solutions. LINQ: Developing complex and efficient queries. RESTful Services: Integration and consumption of APIs. Service Bus/Messaging: Practical experience implementing message-driven architectures (e.g., Azure Service Bus or similar). Code Review & Refactoring: Regularly conducting code reviews and improving code quality as a team. Good-to-Have Skills CQRS Pattern: Exposure to Command Query Responsibility Segregation. AutoMapper: Experience with mapping DTOs and entities. Layered Architecture / Business Logic Layer Design. Document Generation: Familiarity with tools like Aspose.Cells. Reporting: Working with reporting APIs or building custom reports. API Proxy/Integration: Experience with API gateways or proxies. Agile/Scrum: Practice working in an Agile development environment. Azure Cloud Services: Exposure to Blob storage, Service Bus, Key Vault, App Configuration. SignalR: Understanding real-time communication in web apps.
