Power Apps Power BI Developer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Power Apps + Power BI Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing applications and dashboards using Microsoft Power Platform tools, with a focus on Power Apps and Power BI. The candidate should also be proficient in SQL and have a basic understanding of Python to support data analysis and automation tasks. This role requires a creative problem-solver who can design, develop, and maintain scalable solutions to meet business needs while leveraging the latest features of Power Apps and Power BI. Design, develop, and deploy **Power Apps** (Canvas and Model-Driven) to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency. - Create interactive and visually appealing **Power BI dashboards and reports** using modern features such as DAX, Power Query, and AI-driven insights. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, and deliver solutions that align with business objectives. - Optimize and maintain existing Power Apps and Power BI solutions to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability. - Write and optimize **SQL queries** for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. - Utilize **Python** for basic data manipulation, automation, and integration tasks. - Integrate Power Apps and Power BI with other Microsoft tools (e.g., SharePoint, Dynamics 365) and third-party systems. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in the Microsoft Power Platform and recommend innovative solutions to enhance business processes. - Provide technical support and training to end-users to ensure effective adoption of developed solutions. Requirements - **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. - **Experience:** - Minimum **3 years of hands-on experience** developing applications and dashboards using **Power Apps** and **Power BI**. - Proven experience with **DAX**, **Power Query**, and modern Power BI features (e.g., AI visuals, paginated reports). - Strong proficiency in **SQL** for database management and query optimization. - Basic knowledge of **Python** for data analysis and automation tasks. - Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration. - Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform administration and security best practices. - **Certifications (Preferred but not required):** - Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900) - Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst (PL-300) - Microsoft Power Apps + Power Automate Solution Architect (PL-400) Expertise in **Power Apps** (Canvas and Model-Driven) and **Power BI**. - Strong understanding of **SQL** and relational databases. - Basic proficiency in **Python** for scripting and automation. - Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
