Job description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for Thermal Management products.
Create and maintain 3D CAD models, manufacturing drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and engineering documentation.
Support global NPDI programs from concept through product launch.
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Sourcing, Quality, Product Management, and Validation teams.
Perform engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and design evaluations.
Support prototype development, testing, and design verification activities.
Drive cost reduction, manufacturability, serviceability, and quality improvement initiatives.
Manage engineering releases, product structures, revisions, and documentation through PLM systems.
Participate in technical reviews, root-cause investigations, and continuous improvement projects.
Support supplier development and product industrialization activities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
4-8 years of experience in mechanical product design and development.
Proficiency with 3D CAD software, preferably PTC Creo.
Experience using PLM systems and engineering change-management processes.
Strong knowledge of sheet metal design, piping systems, welded structures, and mechanical assemblies.
Ability to create and interpret engineering drawings in accordance with applicable standards.
Understanding of manufacturing processes and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.
Knowledge of BOM structures and product configuration management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Fluent written and spoken English.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in HVAC, Chiller, Refrigeration, Data Center Cooling, CRAH, CRAC, or Thermal Management products.
Basic understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and refrigeration systems.
Experience working in a global or multinational engineering organization.
Experience supporting NPDI programs.
