We're looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our CMS team, building the APIs and interfaces that power tools helping shape healthcare policy for millions of Americans.
What you'll be doing:
Build and maintain user interfaces using React and TypeScript
Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs in Go
Consume and interact with GraphQL APIs via Apollo Client
Collaborate across frontend and backend to shape data endpoints and API contracts
Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code that other engineers enjoy working with
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and Agile ceremonies
Ensure interfaces meet federal accessibility standards including Section 508 and WCAG
What you’ll bring:
Hands-on experience with React and TypeScript on the frontend
Experience building backend services in Go
Experience with GraphQL and Apollo Client
Solid understanding of API design and how frontend and backend systems interact
Familiarity with Docker , Git , and Cypress or similar testing frameworks
Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases is a plus
Comfortable working in a federal or regulated environment
Thrives in a remote, collaborative Agile environment and genuinely enjoys working closely with a cross-functional team
Communicates clearly and openly, whether in a code review or a conversation with a non-technical stakeholder
Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements

Compensation
At Oddball, it’s important each employee is compensated competitively and fairly. In alignment with state legal requirements. A range for the included position is listed below. Be advised, actual offer details are determined by job category, job location, and candidate skill level.
United States Wage Range: $100,000 – $135,000
