Designation: Engineer I - Quality Control

Primary/ Specific Responsibilities:

  • Conducting incoming inspections for Supplier received parts such as raw materials, mechanical parts, composites, etc.
  • Preparing incoming inspection procedures & test reports.
  • Verification of Supplier received documents such as test reports, drawing & COC.
  • Performing ERP transactions of Supplier received parts.
  • On-time inspection/clearance of received materials.
  • Reporting the Non-conformances observed during the inspections.
  • Communicating the rejection details to SQA & SCM.
  • Addressing NC actions assigned to IQC.
  • Collaborate with Engineering team in order to jigs & fixture's development.
  • Suggest improvements at IQC processes or inspection methods.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stores/warehouse teams for proper labeling, segregation, and storage of inspected items.
  • Assisting Supplier Quality team in performing the First Article inspection.
  • Support other quality functions like in-process inspections or final quality checks, especially during peak workload or leave coverage.

Education Qualification: B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Required years of experience: 3 - 4 Years
