We enable your best to power our future. Job Purpose The Senior Product Manager (SPM) at Nielsen is an essential catalyst for innovation within the audience measurement landscape. In this role you will oversee the entire product lifecycle including validating product-market fit, executing the product vision, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver products that delight our customers. To be successful in this role you will need: Expertise in Identity resolution and methodologies: Drive the development of a high-fidelity identity graph. Design strategies that account for varying data quality and availability across global markets while solving for critical measurement and person / household level use cases. Strategic privacy and compliance evolution: As the primary steward of the identity roadmap, you must partner with privacy/legal teams to navigate the shifting global privacy landscape and regulatory environment. You will evaluate third party providers for strategic alignment, respecting evolving laws while maximizing coverage and accuracy. Key Responsibilities Prior experience in Identity graphs and Data Interoperability is required. Familiarity with complex data methodologies including probabilistic vs deterministic matching and identity resolution Define data governance and privacy standards for identity resolution across diverse datasets Stay abreast of the evolving Identity and privacy landscape. Work with legal/privacy teams to incorporate requirements into the product roadmap. Evaluate and manage third party identity providers to enhance the Nielsen graph’s reach and accuracy Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding of Nielsen products to internal stakeholders. Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact Work closely with Data Science and engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources Work with high profile customers to ensure they understand the methodologies used to build and deliver Identity graphs Maintaining a prioritized backlog that aligns with available Engineering capacity and maps to an overall solution roadmap. Set and track ROI goals for each product, ensuring they deliver value and align with broader business objectives Track and enforce contractual commitments to inform product roadmap and prioritization
A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field is preferred 4-7 years experience in product management of a data product. Prior experience with clean rooms (AWS, Snowflake, Habu, etc.) is a plus Additional certifications in Product Management, Agile methodologies, or related areas can be advantageous Knowledge of project and product management tools like Jira Experience with big data analytics and data flows Experience in writing technical specifications and technology requirements Nimble with fail-fast mindset to drive rapid iterations of product development Strong time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to present effectively to upper management A customer-first approach by anchoring and solving customer problems rapidly, aligning data-driven decisions with customer needs Please be aware that job-seekers may be at risk of targeting by scammers seeking personal data or money.
