QA Lead Cypress

Job Title: Senior Software Tester (Automation – Cypress/Playwrite)

Concord is looking for an experienced Senior Software Tester with strong expertise in web automation using Cypress. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on building robust automation frameworks, ensuring high-quality releases, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress for web applications

Build and enhance automation frameworks for scalability and performance

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies

Execute automated and manual test cases, analyze results, and report defects

Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines

Perform regression, smoke, and functional testing

Ensure test coverage, traceability, and quality metrics are maintained

Mentor junior testers and contribute to QA best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications 7+ years of experience in software testing (manual + automation)

Strong hands-on experience with Cypress for web automation

Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript

Experience with test frameworks and tools (Mocha, Chai, etc.)

Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar)

Familiarity with version control systems like Git

Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies

Experience in API testing is a plus (Postman, Rest Assured, etc.)

Good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications Experience with performance or security testing

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Knowledge of Docker or containerization tools

Soft Skills Strong communication and collaboration skills

Attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to work independently and in a team environment
