Senior SAP ePPDS Consultant

We're looking for a Senior SAP ePPDS Consultant to own end-to-end PPDS/ePPDS implementations for our global clients. You'll work the full lifecycle — from requirements through go-live and hypercare - designing planning board, heuristics, and scheduling solutions that integrate tightly with S/4HANA and IBP. This is a senior, client-facing role: you'll work directly with supply chain stakeholders, shape solution design, and mentor junior consultants on delivery best practice.

Work on end-to-end SAP PPDS / ePPDS implementation lifecycle including requirement gathering, blueprinting, system design, configuration, testing, go-live, and post go-live support

Collaborate with business stakeholders and supply chain teams to understand production planning and detailed scheduling requirements and translate them into SAP PPDS solutions

Design and configure PPDS functionalities including planning boards, heuristics, alerts, scheduling profiles, and master data such as BOM, routing, work centers, and production versions

Lead integration activities between SAP S/4HANA PP, IBP, and ePPDS ensuring seamless data flow and synchronized planning across systems

Conduct workshops, POCs, and solution demonstrations to validate business scenarios and drive stakeholder alignment

Support and optimize production planning processes using PPDS heuristics, optimizer, and scheduling strategies for improved operational efficiency

Work closely with technical teams for enhancements, debugging, and resolving system issues, including root cause analysis during hypercare and support phases

Lead or mentor junior consultants, ensuring knowledge transfer, best practices, and high-quality project delivery

Drive continuous improvement initiatives and recommend best practices for supply chain planning and scheduling processes

Skills and attributes for success:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, IT, or related field

Strong experience in SAP PPDS / ePPDS or APO PPDS with good understanding of S/4HANA integration

Hands-on expertise in PPDS configuration including planning board, DS board, heuristics, alerts, and scheduling strategies

Strong knowledge of production planning master data (BOM, routing, work centers, characteristics, and classifications)

Experience in integrating SAP PPDS with IBP and other SAP modules like MM, SD, and PP

Good understanding of end-to-end supply chain planning processes including demand, supply, and production scheduling

Minimum 5–8 years of relevant SAP experience (role can be adjusted based on seniority)

Experience in at least 1–2 full-cycle SAP PPDS/IBP implementations is preferred

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work in global delivery models and collaborate with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams

Exposure to SAP IBP, Fiori apps, or digital supply chain solutions will be an added advantage

Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or logistics industries would be advantageous.

Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred) .

SAP certification in relevant modules (e.g., SAP IBP, SAP PP/DS, SAP S/4HANA) is highly preferred .

Additional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Agile) are a plus.
