Network Data L1 Engineer - EOSL Project Location: CUSTOMER-Bengaluru-Bengaluru Years of Experience: 3-5 Years Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Network Data L1 Engineer to join our team for the EOSL project. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of networking concepts, particularly in switching and routing. This entry-level position is perfect for recent graduates or individuals looking to start their career in network engineering.
Assist in the configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of network devices including switches and routers. Support the implementation of network solutions in accordance with project requirements. Participate in network performance monitoring and reporting. Collaborate with senior engineers to resolve network issues and improve system performance. Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps. Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest networking technologies and best practices. Mandatory Skills: Basic understanding of switching and routing concepts. Familiarity with network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS). Ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Preferred Skills: Experience with network monitoring tools. Knowledge of network security principles. Familiarity with Linux or Windows operating systems. Basic understanding of cloud networking concepts.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant internships or coursework in networking is a plus. Certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+ are advantageous but not required.
