Lead and scale end-to-end US mortgage origination operations, driving efficiency, quality, and an exceptional client experience across the origination lifecycle

Build, mentor, and inspire large cross-functional teams across loan processing, underwriting support, closing, and post-close functions

Define and execute strategic roadmaps aligned with Rocket's origination volume targets, compliance standards, and technology-driven transformation goals

Partner closely with US-based stakeholders, product teams, and technology leaders to streamline workflows, reduce cycle times, and eliminate friction in the borrower journey

Champion a data-driven culture by establishing KPIs, SLAs, and performance dashboards to monitor productivity, accuracy, and turnaround times

Stay ahead of evolving regulatory requirements (TRID, RESPA, ECOA, state-specific guidelines) and ensure all origination activities remain fully compliant

Drive continuous improvement initiatives leveraging automation, AI, and digital tools to modernize origination processes

Serve as a thought leader and subject matter expert on US mortgage origination best practices, market trends, and competitive landscape

Own talent strategy for the originations vertical — including hiring, upskilling, succession planning, and retention of top talent

Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and relentless client focus that reflects Rocket's core values

About You

Minimum Qualifications

13 to 20 years of progressive experience in US mortgage originations, with a strong track record in leadership and operational management

Deep expertise across the full origination lifecycle — from application through closing — including conventional, FHA, VA, and jumbo loan products

Proven experience managing and scaling teams of 100+ professionals in origination operations

Strong working knowledge of US regulatory frameworks including TRID, RESPA, ECOA, HMDA, and state-level lending regulations

Demonstrated ability to drive process optimization, digital transformation, and operational excellence at scale

Exceptional stakeholder management skills with experience collaborating across geographies, particularly with US-based teams

Strong analytical mindset with experience leveraging data and metrics to inform decisions and drive performance

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working within or partnering with top US mortgage lenders, servicers, or fintech organizations

Familiarity with Rocket's technology ecosystem or similar mortgage technology platforms (Encompass, Black Knight, ICE Mortgage Technology)

MBA or advanced degree in a relevant discipline

Experience leading operations in a GCC (Global Capability Center) or offshore/nearshore delivery model

Certifications such as Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) or equivalent industry credentials

Track record of successfully launching new origination verticals, products, or market expansions

Passion for mentoring the next generation of mortgage professionals and building a culture of learning
