Operate and monitor boiler systems, including fuel supply, water levels, pressure gauges, and temperature controls; conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment, tubes, and valves

Perform water treatment and chemical analysis to ensure proper water quality; document all operational activities, maintenance performed, fuel consumption, and system parameters in maintenance logs

Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues, implementing corrective actions or escalating problems to maintenance personnel as needed

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and local regulatory requirements; respond promptly to alarms and abnormal conditions to maintain system integrity

Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to schedule repairs and system upgrades while maintaining a clean work environment and working shift schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required

Proven experience operating and maintaining industrial boiler systems

Strong knowledge of steam generation, pressure vessel operations, and related mechanical systems

Familiarity with safety protocols and local regulatory compliance requirements

Proficiency in water treatment procedures and chemical analysis

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills for accurate record-keeping and documentation

Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to diagnose and resolve operational issues

Ability to work shift schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required

Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members

Physical capability to perform manual tasks and work in industrial environments

Preferred: Boiler operator certification or equivalent credentials

Preferred: Experience with automated boiler control systems and energy efficiency optimization

Preferred: Knowledge of multiple boiler types and configurations
